Inspiration: This Magnolia is from our Magnolia tree.   The bee on it was just having a feast day and enjoying its amazing fragrance.  I was fortunate that I was able to capture both the flower and bee that day on my camera to turn it into this painting. This is perhaps one of my more detailed paintings but it was a joy to paint.  It is also one of my artworks which has a little touch of humor.
